The Cooldown Crew

S2 students from Wester Hailes Education Centre attended a Cooldown Crew programme. The course is run by Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service and took place locally at Sighthill Fire Station. During the week, students covered a variety of activities from scaling the training tower to dealing with casualties in a fire. Certificates were presented by local MSP Gordon Macdonald at the end of the week when the students entertained parents and friends to a display of their new skills.
