Congratulations to our Drama Teacher Katie McLennan who won the Evening News Pride of Edinburgh Teacher of the Year Award at the Assembly Rooms on Friday 16th May and to Kerry Renwick from S5 who was shortlisted for the Student of the Year. The award recognises Katie’s work as an inspiring teacher who makes a difference to the learning experiences of the students in her class. Katie began teaching at Wester Hailes Education Centre three years ago and has helped our students to grow in confidence and inspired in them a love of acting.
