New S1 Transition Update

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation we are unable to run our usual 3-day Transition programme this week.

We were really looking forward to welcoming you, but we know that you have been doing some exciting tasks with your P7 teacher about the move from Primary to Secondary.

Instead, this year we will be doing a New S1 Virtual Transition through our website. On our Transition tab on the school website (www.whec.edin.sch.uk/transition-2020-21/) you will find all New S1 Transition materials.

We have just uploaded some new videos for you to watch and a special activity for you to complete and then submit your answers electronically.

We will also be posting up a Q&A factsheet on the Transition Tab once your Primary schools have passed on all your questions.

We are all very much looking forward to seeing you in August! Stay safe and have a good summer!
