Latest update from CEC and COVID-19: Warn and Inform Letters

Dear parent/carer,

Please see the latest update from the City of Edinburgh Council regarding COVID guidance in schools. In the update it has all the latest changes to COVID procedures in schools however one I feel I should emphasise is how COVID cases are managed. Instead of isolating large groups of pupils, a new Warn and Inform letter has been created for any pupil who tests positive for COVID. I would ask that you read this letter in its entirety and familiarise yourself with the content.

If a pupil test’s positive for COVID in school , we will be informed by Test and Protect and we will send you a Warn and Inform text and letter to you as soon as possible.
