Students from S3 were presented with their awards for achievement on 4th June 2014. Students welcomed former student Sas Martinez who works with young people in the local community. He spoke about how important it is to do your best at school to open up the opportunities for your future. Sas was joined on stage by his Dad – Sam Martinez, students were amazed to discover he is Wester Hailes oldest resident at 104 years old! Mr Martinez spoke about all the different experiences his life has brought him and how much he enjoyed living in the Wester Hailes area.
