On May 8th two S3 pupils – Shannon Diack and Toni Faccenda – took part in the second heat of the Procurator Fiscal’s Schools Public Speaking Competition. Following a fantastic performance the girls were awarded a place in the finals on May 28th.
Competing against teams from Holyrood RC High School and Royal High School the girls triumphed after a very strong performance. Both of our students were given very positive feedback from the judges for their enthusiasm and confidence.
Thanks to our librarian Anne Brownlee for hosting and Nicola McNeil for chairing the event. All staff and students are invited to support Shannon and Toni at the final.
