Phase 2 – Return to in person learning

Dear Parent/Carer,

First of all let me take this opportunity to thank all the parents and carers who have sent us positive messages of support regarding our current conundrum; I would like to return the gesture to you and thank you for your patience and understanding.

When I wrote to you on Friday 2nd March, I highlighted the key considerations that were required prior to the implementation of Phase 2 of face to face learning. One of the first tasks we had to do was to create a simple rationale that all stakeholders would understand and comply with. Our rationale for this Phase is therefore:-

“In a safe and controlled manner, consistently and proportionately connect with as many pupils as possible”

To this end, I have attached a document as a reference point for you to go back to if required, so that you can spend some time with your son/daughter understanding when they have to arrive in school and when they have to leave, and of course if there’s any availability of food – teenager’s always want to know where the food is !

Phase 2 – Return to in person learning

There is a section contained in the document if you need to contact us as well as a section to the most recent government guidance on Phase 2.

Best wishes
