Two groups of girls from across the City of Edinburgh join forces to reduce harm to young people. 

5 girls from Wester Hailes Education Centre joined with 6 girls from Citadel Youth Centre Leith and gave up a week end of their summer holidays to take part in a residential Peer Education Programme called ‘No Knives Better Lives’.

The girls joined together to provide a peer Education workshop at the No Knives Better Lives Celebration event held in Govan recently and hope to provide their own residential peer education training programme in the spring to other young people interested in becoming peer educators. In the coming year they would also like provide workshops for S1 and S2 students looking at the topic of young people and risky behaviour.
