CAP Debt Help has been specifically tailored to help those who are struggling with unmanageable debt to get a handle on their finances and support with various suitable routes out of Debt. Our local Debt Coach visit clients in their own homes, making our service accessible to anyone who might find travel difficult or those who find it hard to leave their home. Our CAP Job Club has a weekly drop in at the Bridge Community cafe in Wester Hailes on a Friday between 10am and 1pm, we also run 3 ‘Steps to Employment’ courses each year. The courses cover practical help such as CV writing and interview skills as well as confidence building and motivation. Our CAP Fresh Start course runs 3 times a year and is for supporting those battling with life-controlling dependencies. These dependencies could be anything; cigarettes; alcohol; computer games; shopping – the list is endless. The course is for anyone who feels there is something in their life that has more control over them than they have over it.
