Dear parent/carer
I wrote to you on Wednesday 17th February (only two days ago but in all honesty that seems like a lifetime ago) to inform you that from wk 22nd February we would have a very small portion of our Senior Phase (S4,S5 and S6) pupils returning to complete essential practical tasks for some subjects. We have published our timetable on our website for you as well as tightening up our protocols to ensure the school is safe for your son/daughter to return. Prior to the last lockdown, we had a great deal of compliance from our pupils and it’s absolutely essential that we see that again as we try to phase pupils back in again. Furthermore as this new version of phasing has not been tried and tested you may find your son/daughter has returned from school earlier than normal as they have completed all the essential work or tasks for that that day.
I would also like to raise awareness about the our Testing Kit Collection Centre for all S4 ,S5 and S6 pupils which is open daily from 0930 -1030. This is a voluntary opportunity for your child to participate in the testing programme should they wish. *please be aware that we will only distribute the testing kits once key information has been issued and a consent form has been signed for*. These can be collected from the school at any time or downloaded from the website.
Finally for all S1 parents and carers (and any prospective P7 pupils) we are rescheduling our online Zoom meetings wb 1st March, please keep a look out for the flier and zoom code to join.
Best wishes and stay safe everyone.
Regards
David Young
