The catering service in the Centre is managed and operated by Edinburgh Catering Services.

Wester Hailes Education Centre Cafeteria opens Monday-Friday from 9am - 9pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Full meals and snacks are available all day, at reasonable prices.

 

All types of functions within the Centre are catered for as well as catering to outside facilities for weddings, birthday parties and formal dinners.

 

Wester Hailes Education Centre cafeteria also provides catering for the Royal Sick Children's Hospital, amongst others, and the service is very experienced at providing well balanced and nutritional, healthy meals.

 

As well as the main cafeteria, the Coffee Pot is also open daily, during school term, for snacks and refreshments.

 

Both chefs, and the majority of staff, have been working in the Centre for over 10 years and provide a cohesive and experienced team able to offer good food at a reasonable cost.

 

 

Community Lounge

 

Enjoy a cup of coffee and a bun, at interval and lunch times during the school day in the relaxing atmosphere of the community lounge.

 

Take away the strain of organising your child's party.  Let the kiddies play in the soft play area or go for a swim and our cafeteria can provide a birthday tea all set up in the lounge for you to enjoy.
