How to Enrol
New terms begin three times a year, in September, January and April. A full programme is prepared for each new term. This is posted to existing students and anyone else who requests it. Simply telephone, or pop in for a copy or look at it here.
Enrolment takes place in the weeks prior to each new term. However, even during a term it can often be possible to find space in some of our classes, so it’s always worth telephoning to find out.
To enrol, in the first instance, you must fill in an enrolment form, a printable copy of which is available here - Enrolment Form
You can pay in cash, by cheque or by credit/debit card.
Our credit/debit card booking line is available on 621 8325 between 18.30 – 20.30 Monday to Thursday and from 10.00 – 16.00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Information and Course Choices for Adults
If you are considering becoming an adult student and are unsure about what courses to start with (or the right level) please telephone Beryl Homan in the Community Education office on 442 2201 or pop in and make an appointment. If what you want to study is not in our brochure we can help you find where else it is on offer or if we have enough interest we can try to supply the course later in the year. We can also help you find out about opportunities to progress in different educational fields and help you with queries about local services or social activities.
Support and Access Requirements
We aim to make it possible for all adults to join our courses. Most, but not all of the building is accessible to everyone, though prior notice is required to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for access. If you require particular support, for any reason, or would like to discuss your requirements, please telephone 0131 442 2201 and ask for the Community Education Department. Please also complete the relevant section on the enrolment form. This confidential information will enable us to make appropriate arrangements to improve the service we offer to you.
